Tips and FAQs for Troubleshooting Candles

Why are my candles sweating?

Don't worry. If you find liquid on top of your candle wax, it means the fragrance is sweating. This is due to the generous amount of fragrance we put in each of our candles, giving you a little extra love.

Candle wax discoloration

If your wax is not white, don't worry. Our natural ingredients and formula may cause the candle to slightly change color when exposed to sunlight or temperature changes, but it will never be significant.

Air bubbles in the candle

If you find air bubbles in your candle, this is simply caused by changes in room temperature and will not affect the candle's burn time or fragrance throw.

Why do candles tunnel?

If your candle is tunneling, it's due to a "memory ring". Your candle will remember where it last burned and if it didn't liquefy all the way to the edge on the first burn, it will continue to do the same on subsequent burns. There's a light at the end of the tunnel! An easy way to fix this is to give it a longer burn time next time. Try burning it a bit longer than normal or enough for the pool to reach the edge.

We're committed to providing you with the best possible candle experience. While we believe these issues are unlikely, we're here to help if you need us. Please contact us if you have any concerns.
